However, I did want to point out that, ever since the War of Northern Aggression, approximately 143 years ago, God's Country has been filling up with Anglicans from the North. Living in Atlanta in 94-96, you couldn't sneeze without hitting someone of the "northern" persuasion. Rather than just going back from where they came, THEY STAYED! Even Nashvulle is moving in that direction. Ya know, I even saw a dang Presbyterian there recently, right out in public! What IS the world coming to? This would never happen in Wetumpka, Alabama. By golly, there, men are men, not ... stark raving moderates! I'm going to LA and relax. Lower Alabama, that is. Since there is such a "tempest in a teapot" about which organization has the best initials, is most qualified and which Instructors are legitimate, I thought I would try to divert your attention to an issue that has REAL significance and application to the world in which we live. Get US out of the UN! Carpetbaggers! At the moment I am doing some research to right up a business plan. That way I will be prepared for the lovely bankers to just generously give me a nice loan. :) Somethings I need to know is what is the monthly income of you schools (tuition vs. supply sales), what is your percentage rate of adults in your class and kids in your class, what is an average monthly enrollment (1 person, 2 people, etc..), advertising costs, which advertising venue, outside of word of mouth and walk-ins, seems to work the best? Thanks. If you don't want to post this information on the board, please feel free to contact me at martialscience@hotmail.com. If you have a website that would have some of this general information, please feel free to share it. Thanks in advance for the help. Jeremy T. __________________________________ Do you Yahoo!? So what did YOU think of that Hall of Fame? And Ray wrote: > Gee, you've actually met Dakin?!? He and I have been arguing via the Internet for 11 or 13 years now and I've never met him in person... :) Well there are two very good reasons for that: 1. Both Mississippi and California are a hell of a long ways away. 2. I'm too cheap to spend a lot on another seminar. :) But remember... Last month I had the honor of meeting with him as he passed through California on his way home. I have met a lot of people in the martial arts, but sadly few I would call Martial Artists. Master Booth is truly a Martial Artist. His self-defense skills are excellent, and I enjoyed the time we spent comparing notes on Hapkido method. I look forward to visiting with him again soon. The reporting in Korea is pretty peculiar and reporters have been known to edit and print statements entirely out of context or just fabricate them whole-cloth so I am not sure if some of the farcical sword facts are the real opinions of the store owners or just crap added by the writer to flesh out the article. The url for the article is currently: http://www.koreaherald.co.kr/SITE/data/html_dir/2003/04/29/200304290026.asp The piece appeared on page 9 of the Korea Herald, in the Living/Arts section, on Tuesday, April 29th, 2003. ===== Anthony Boyd: Swordsman and English Teacher www.stormpages.com/haidonggumdo ______________________________________________________________________ Post your free ad now! http://personals.yahoo.ca --__--__-- _______________________________________________ The_Dojang mailing list The_Dojang@martialartsresource.net http://martialartsresource.net/mailman/listinfo/the_dojang http://the-dojang.net It's a great day for Taekwondo!
