Reply-To: the_dojang@martialartsresource.net Given that there is now a growing excitement about the USTU's ability to represent the IOC etc. It makes me wonder about all the recent advertising of the USTW etc. It could be an interesting ride if organizations such as the AAU, USTW or USTU compete for the USTU's current status. In other words if you want to do anything anymore it has to be Kukkiwon and nothing else. Me as ITF it makes it damn near impossible for me to mingle with the WTF. To me it's all the same. I feel that KKW cetrtificates benefit our students and from a business standpoint thats all that really matters. The ustu's move toward their own dan cert process has been in the works for a rather long time. What evidence do you have that the two are linked??? Consequently I have lead a life without painkillers, without antihistamenes, without antinflamatories. I have found that I am very strong, even though I have no assistance to combat disease I handle it quite affectively. I doubt my humble opinion will help anyone but I felt as if i should share this as I have an inherrent distrust of drugs. What it is like in REAL Hapkido dojangs in Korea. I will be going to Taegu early in September for 2 weeks with GM Lim & Chung (HKD,GHD & TKD). I have felt for a long time that finding a dojang in Korea and developing a relationship with the people is the best way to experience Korea. I too am very strong and able to combat disease and illness quite effectively (knock on wood). But I do get a minor cold about once every 5 or 7 years...
