Reply-To: the_dojang@martialartsresource.net Good Sir: All eventualities are provided for. The managerial hierachy of the org itself takes care of everything. No person is in a position of real power who does not belong there.(key word:real) If there is a question, why do you conjecture or speculate when all you have to do is contact the org and ask? Not picking on YOU per se, just that yours is the most recent post I've read. I appreciate your efforts in the forum, keep things stirred as still water soon grows stagnant. You have many times caused me to ponder even the most basic things that I might not have thought of. Thank you sir, for making me take the time to notice the world around me. Had an amazing time Sat at the gathering/party for the celebration of Mrs. Renee West's life. Big big crowd. Probably 800 to 1,000 people stopped by to eat, drink, view pictures of Mrs. West and remember her. We should all be so lucky to be loved and remembered by so many. And now... life goes on. Yet I feel a bond of kinship with you by virtue of what we share in life and our similar beliefs. I know that anything we write or say will not adequately express the loss to the lives of you and your family. Know that I feel sorrow for your loss, and we will keep you and your family in our prayers. Danny Dunn --__--__-- Message: 6 From: "Hapkido Self Defense Center" To: Date: Mon, 22 Sep 2003 16:03:31 -0400 Subject: [The_Dojang] Back from Jackson.... Reply-To: the_dojang@martialartsresource.net I just returned from Jackson from the Gathering of Friends for the Celebration of Life for Master Renee West. I have not read the last 12 or so digest that have come out since last Thursday, but I will once I get caught up with my other 100 or so email over the next few days and also write about the 19th international the week before last. Saturday Afternoon, the Celebration of Life was held at Wayne's house and I do not even think the largest get together we have ever had in Jackson came close to the number of people that came to the celebration Saturday afternoon. After arriving in Jackson Friday afternoon, I spent the evening with Master West at his house and we went out for some good ole' southern barbeque! I even got to strum his Martin D45 for a minute (for a guitar player that is as good as it gets, that is like driving a brand new RRoyce when you drive a pick-up truck). Saturday morning Master West, Master Ray Terry and I went to breakfast (by coincidence) and then met at the celebration of life. I must say that Wayne's family did an outstanding job putting together this celebration and I am not sure how Wayne ended up with such a lovely wife! Master West and his family, Wayne and his family were wonderful hosts to all of us. Saturday evening, Ray and I sat at the bar at a nearby establishment and told lies for several hours!:) Ray, my friend, as always it was great to see you again, I just wish it was under better circumstances. I will repeat what I said in my early post as I understand that many people have already made contributions on behalf of Mrs. West: If you are interested in sending flowers or doing something to remember her, please make a contribution in her name to the diabetes foundation of your choice.
