I know the usual answers of do good things and put others in front of yourself. However this does not say what it means to be honorable or to live an honorable life. If anyone would care to give me their definition of honor, I would be greatly interested. Hello Dena: From what I have seen in Jackson, you won't only be welcome, you will be treated with respect and dignity. Hello Shane: This is an OLD way of training. Dig a hole about knee deep, and jump in and out of it until it is comfortable. Then, keep digging deeper as you get better at jumping:) Sincerely, Rudy --__--__-- Message: 6 Date: Tue, 28 Oct 2003 20:03:05 -0800 (PST) From: "Dr. Daryl Covington" To: the_dojang@martialartsresource.net Subject: [The_Dojang] From Carver Reply-To: the_dojang@martialartsresource.net Sorry I have not responded sooner to your email that you sent to my hotmail account. But I have been pretty busy. I have posted photos on BudoSeek! In the discussion forums. As far as the annoucements, here is what I posted. First, the announcements were not made at the events at the dojo. Rather, the announcements were made at an official dinner on Saturday evening (October 25th) in the presence of all who attended. During that dinner, Oh, Se Lim acknowledged Richard Hackworth as the KHF's official representative in the US, Dr. Antonio Latier, as the KHF representative for Argentina, Gabriel Zarate as the KHF for Equador, and Fabien Duque as the Latin American Coordinator. A representative for Canada is expected to be announced by first part of December. Additionally, GM Oh spoke at length concerning the "fakes and frauds" in the Hapkido community. Listing these here would not only be too long to list, but would be in violation of BudoSeek's rules. These, plus the announcements concerning official national representatives will be announced on the KHF website at http://hapkidokorea.org/english/index.php in the very near future. Anyway, that is the scoop! Talk to you soon. Robert M. Carver Webmaster BudoSeek! Martial Arts Community http://www.budoseek.net --------------------------------- Do you Yahoo!?
