I hope that whichever type of dojang you attend you can defeat yours -----Original Message----- From: C. Mr.Stovall , I see you'r point. And i agree !! It is a shame that most of the schools that stay in business are of the Mc dojang type! And the good one's can't seem to make headway. At least in my neck of the wood's anyway. C. Bonner _________________________________________________________________ It's our best dial-up Internet access offer: 6 months @$9.95/month. I have yet to see XMA, but here's my take. It's just a movie. It's just entertainment. Tom Cruise has never done a barrell roll in an F-14 and no he doesn't have 25 years martial arts training (like Sifu Chan), but the point is in the 80's Top Gun was a box office success and in the new milenium so is The Last Samurai. Is it historically factual? Who cares! Was it entertaining enough to seperate a tight-wad like me from $6.50 for a matine? You betcha! On to XMA. No I wouldn't begin to defend myself with XMA, and I'd have to agree if my plan was for protection from known threats, at 6'3" and over 100 kilos my attacker will most likely be armed. Some type of defensive weapons (or driving) training is probably more practical than martial arts. But, the folks like Mike Chatt. and other who have been successful at XMA must eat the same quantity of rice as many of the rest of us "true warriors", what ever that is.
