You'd be surprised at the number of folks who want to train but who are in your same situation (work late, family obligations in the evening, etc) and can't. It will give you valuable instructor experience with a small population (not many folks want to get up and throw down early in the morning). The program I ran in Seoul for two years was an early one, simply because our operations tempo was pretty high and most of us worked late hours. It was successful and is still going strong even though I've moved from Korea back to the States. Granted, I'm a little warped so I enjoyed it...better living through caffeine. You can also consider finding a training partner in your school w/ the same situation (works late, etc) and get together to maintain your skills outside of the normal class hours. Just a couple of ideas. Best of luck. I'm interested in any korean swords, from straight to curved, demo to combat/cutting. Jye Kevin wrote: Hello Jye, What are you wanting to do with the Sword? Cutting, Demo, Combat? Straight or curved? Are you looking for "Gum or Do"? If you want to cut then a "Practical Katana" would be a suggestion. Forged and Tempered. Price range from $60 to $6,000 You can get a decent beginners cutting sword for under $200 Sincerely, Kevin Janisse _______________________________________________ The_Dojang mailing list, 1600 members The_Dojang@martialartsresource.net Copyright 1994-2004: Ray Terry and Martial Arts Resource Standard disclaimers apply http://martialartsresource.net/mailman/listinfo/the_dojang __________________________________________________ Do You Yahoo!?
