Always good to hear from a local HKD student! I train with a private teacher in Macedonia right near the Macedonia commons...I live near you (Parma)...is it alright to email you personally to talk about this subject? I know a little about the Kim's in Fairview....also, there are three more students at my school that will be looking if it closes...I can explain more in private... Thanks for the reply! I am currently living in Seoul and know a broker in Taejon who sells quality hand forged weaponry of all varieties including authentic Korean style swords. These weapons vary in price according to what the desired function of the weapon is. All the swords come with a one year warranty. If you are interested in seeing the product line, contact me and I will gladly help you in any way I can. It will be well worth the trip. When I was at Lackland there were several classes offered on base through MWR. You're also in a great place to pick up Mountain Biking. One of the best places is OP Schnabel off Bandera Road. I lived in Leon Valley for a year and there were some nice looking mixed martial art schools in that area. Best Wishes from a former Sky Cop, Jon P.S. LACKLAND SUX, the fastest way to make Major is to PCS there as a Lt Col :^) --__--__-- Message: 4 Date: Sat, 28 Aug 2004 06:08:26 -0700 (PDT) From: Jye nigma To: the_dojang@martialartsresource.net Subject: [The_Dojang] Hapkido -budo taijutsu Reply-To: the_dojang@martialartsresource.net The other day I was at the bookstore, and picked up a hapkido book. As I flipped through the book, I found that there were many similarities between hapkido (in that book) and ninjutsu(budo taijutsu). I found it interesting.
