I have almost every book written by Gen Choi... I am only missing volumes 13 thru 15, a real bummer since those would make my Choi collection complete! This is very exciting to have them out on CD Rom, they are an exceptional asset to any practitioner of TKD. All his material has been a major benifit for my learning process. Sandy Tomlinson ps. I was awarded my Second Dan belt on wendsday! Little did I know 6 years ago that I would see beyond 1st! So now the training for 3rd Dan begins!!! It just never ends............ --__--__-- Message: 2 Date: Sun, 29 Aug 2004 11:55:56 -0700 (PDT) From: Master Arce To: the_dojang@martialartsresource.net Subject: [The_Dojang] Master Rank Reply-To: the_dojang@martialartsresource.net 4th Dan in the WTF, and 6th Dan in the ITF... But, don't forget we sent two competitors to Athens -- and Nia Abdallah will be coming home with a silver medal. BTW, having watched both finals and discussed the matches with a couple of US referees, I'm not so sure that Nia wasn't "robbed" since the Korean competitor was never called for literally hugging Nia more than once, and for literally running away from Nia to run out the clock. A referee can win or lose a match, and the ref for Nia's match may well have "won" the match for the Korean. (Of course, this is all just my opinion - perhaps the Korean team saw things differently.) Be that as it may, both were terrific competitors and should be proud of their representation as we should be proud of them. We sent two competitors, and they came home with two medals. A JOB WELL DONE!
