It's been a while since I've posted. I'm one of Master West's students and wondering if anyone knows of any schools in San Antonio in the Alamo, Convention Center, or River Walk areas. I'm going to be out that way the week of Oct. 16-22 and might be interested in dropping in on a class. Thanks. For the jump version itīs basically the same i think, but before spinning one should jump up first tucking the legs underneath the body... My questions are: How can one break up those techniques into teachable ones... What are the things to look for in the whole technique to improve upon, think of the most made mistakes kind of things What is the focus in the mind in this technique, is it thinking of jumping or thinking of spinning or not teh least thinking of the kick... Actually, he is still superman, his abilities do not change just the perception of outsiders to his abilities. Clark is still bulletproof. Our association is a member of the Euro Soo bahk do moo duk kwan. Each year, Kwanjanim H.C hwang come in Europe for seminar. In France, Two koreans masters come in 1989, Masters Choi (two brothers), to teach soobahkdo. 6 years ago, they left to US. Now, it is one of their students who teach soobahkdo. About Taekwonfu, it is just because before, i learn taekwondo and the term "taekwonfu" is a word i have seen in a french movie. I cant take it anymore!!! I gotta add my little two cents in! I have alot of respect for my uniforms. My favorite is my first one... it's also the most comfortable material of all my uniforms. My most exciting uniform was my first dan where I trained to become an instructor and was able to place an instructor's patch on it. My most demanding uniform so far is my second dan.... learning how to manage a school and train under an exceptional instructor with skill and talent far exceeding most instructors. And learning more teaching skills. It's like starting all over again! I keep them all spotless, wrinkle free and folded properly. Oh, I do train in regular clothes too in the outdoors. I wear Adidas martial arts shoes all the time. I go running and climbing in a local park every day and they have really helped with balancing skill and foot and ankle strength. Not good for running on pavement for those mile runners. They need a little insert for some cushning but all in all they are the best shoes Ive ever worn! Too bad there isnt a martial arts snow boot or shoe around! Or is there? sandy --__--__-- Message: 10 From: Ray Terry Subject: Re: [The_Dojang] Soo bahk Do in France To: the_dojang@martialartsresource.net Date: Sun, 3 Oct 2004 11:29:35 -0700 (PDT) Reply-To: the_dojang@martialartsresource.net > yes, in France, we are a little group (20 persons) who practise Soobahkdo. > Our association is a member of the Euro Soo bahk do moo duk kwan. I have trained in todays new martial arts shoes (at camps and thinks) but to say you can develop awareness in the ball of the foot or the heel of the foot the same way you do barefooted... well I don't think so. I hear that the other countries population in Soo Bahk Do is doing well. The New Do-Jang is in Seoul. I have an address that was sent to me just last week. I was told it is fairly large with two training areas, offices and a separate Ko Dan Ja training area. but that is all I know. I am looking forward to visiting in October 2005. As for Master KY Seen. I have no idea. I know that Master Lee is instructing at the central Do-Jang and that master Hong and Master WY Chang Dan #410 are some of the seniors in charge there.
