IMHO that is where his brilliance starts,, his techniques are meant to work on big mean guys that want to kill you... the answer is in his stepping that is where he picks up all that power and speed... The Taekwondo Park Committee (headed by Lee Dae-soon, president of the Asian Taekwondo Union) held a press conference at the Ministry of Culture and Tourism on Thursday and announced that an area in Socheon-ri, Seolcheon-myeon, Muju County, North Jeolla province had been selected for the new park. Of the three candidates -- Muju, Gyeongju, and Chuncheon -- Muju came in first in the committee's composite evaluations that took into account each site's presentation and on-the-spot surveys. Of 1,000 total points, Muju earned 831.53. Gyeongju, North Gyeongsang province, earned 823.87 points, while Chuncheon, Gangwon province, earned 809.0 points. The Taekwondo Park will be constructed as an "experience-style theme park with taekwondo contents" on 200,000 pyeong of land, to be enlarged to 700,000 pyeong, at a cost of W164.4 billion. The Ministry of Culture and Tourism will compose the foundation that will push construction next year, with construction being completed in 2013. by Kim Wang-geun --__--__-- Message: 3 From: Ray Terry To: the_dojang@martialartsresource.net (The_Dojang) Date: Thu, 30 Dec 2004 15:51:11 -0800 (PST) Subject: [The_Dojang] Tsunami fund (OT) Reply-To: the_dojang@martialartsresource.net Please allow me this off-topic post.
