Ramon,

Once again, your terminology agrees almost exactly with our terminology
in Tang Soo Do.  My Kwan Jang Nim is Shin, Jae Chul, founder of World
Tang Soo Do Association.

I have noticed in some posts that the writer are adding "nim" to their title.  Am I old fashiined or isn't calling my self  
Vic Cushing Nim a mistake?  The "nim:  is added by the person addressing someone else, correct?

Yes, I believe you are correct.

e.g. calling yourself Sabumnim Cushing is incorrect.  Calling yourself
Cushing Sabumnim is incorrect.  Calling yourself Cushing Sabum is accepted.
Others would add the -nim honorific when refering to you.
