I stand behind this idea 100%. While I would love to offer my students, and future students, more - by devoting my time to other things, I think it's guaranteed [for me at any rate] that I would wind up giving them less. I know I won't stop dabbling in a few select arts that hold secondary interest for me, but I'm not going to focus on mastering anything but what I am working on now. This may make me a one-trick pony, but that one trick will be "everything you never knew someone could do with a sword, and live to tell about it." Unless of course I discover the secret of ki-powered flight, in which case I would be forced for the good of humanity to market my secrets on late-night infomercials for $19.99+S/H, sandwiched between some freakish thigh device and some fiendish new way to cook meat. If so, I'd like to get together and get some pictures taken so we can post them up here. Please let me know either via the_dojang or off line.
