Whilst it looked great fun (I would love to do some of those somersaults), it was basically a gymnastics show and had very little to do with classical martial arts as I understand it. I'd still love to be able to jump like that though... All the false claims seem to fit right in with his claim of inheriting Sin Moo Hapkido from Gm Ji. If we focus on the principles hidden within the techniques and not on the techniques themselves we will be able to find value in every one of the thousands of techniques or movements we have been taught, shown, seen, or experimented with. Most arts have a predefined number of techniques that are taught within and there is usually a reason for it. Unless we can speak to the person responsible for putting it together, I have a difficult tiime justifying the right or reason to take away from it. The reward in being able to teach a technique that does not fit me, to someone who does it well, is that I was able to convey the principle within the technique to the student and not my skill in performing it.
