If you go train in Korea, the Hapkidoin there kick as much and as well as TKD people. The one big difference is a Hapkidoin will kick you from the ankle to the head, where the TKD people usually don't include the low kicks. I've seen Hapkidoin do any kick you can think of, including kicking targets that people are holding as they sit on top of other's shoulders where the kicker does a back flip as they kick, including all the fancy jump and spinning kicks you can think of, etc. I would bet that most Hapkidoin in Korea know more kicks than TKD because of the added low kicks.
