We have to make the first move and teach our kids to be smart and then to train them so their actions happen naturally without thought...in GA a 7 year old girl was abducted but she got away because she kept kicking the man on his leg and I think his testicles. Jye Rick Clark wrote: Hi folks, This just from the news a 12 year old girl out in Utah successfully escaped from an adult who had her in his car. Her brother ran for help but is seems the girl was in the car, on the TV she was saying how she was hitting him and doing everything she could to annoy him. She did not want to happen to her what has happened to other kids who had been abducted. She even said it was the "classic" I am looking for my puppy! Don't know if she has had any martial arts training but it seems as if she did ok in defending herself, she is safe, and the perpetrator is in custody. Actually, his techniques look pretty good, parody or not. I would like to know who exactly this guy is, his "real" age, rank, and nationality. He AIN'T Japanese, I'm willing to bet even though he speaks like he might be. Does anyone else know anymore about this? Thanks. James Morgan Greenbrier Tae Kwon Do Academy Lewisburg, WV www.gtkda.com Ron stated: Noting the previous message about Nodan's video, I did a little research and found this link. It contains a short trailer. Yes, I agree it must be some type of parody. Interesting, very interesting. http://www.customflix.com/206904 --__--__-- Message: 4 From: Hapkidoman5@wmconnect.com Date: Tue, 2 Aug 2005 19:03:28 EDT To: the_dojang@martialartsresource.net Subject: [The_Dojang] korean ninja's Reply-To: the_dojang@martialartsresource.net Has anyone heard of a system called sool sa do or sul sa do IM not sure of the spelling i read about it back in the 80's and thats the last i heard of it according to what i read and saw it was supposed to be the Korean equivalent of the ninja of Japan and it had some similarities any info would help satisfy my curiosity Kurtis carter --__--__-- Message: 5 Date: Tue, 2 Aug 2005 19:31:54 -0400 (EDT) From: "A. LOL Reply-To: the_dojang@martialartsresource.net Speaking as a sword stylist [and a person who has learned to be careful what he wishes for], I always find invitations like this to be funny: "I am also open to demonstrating the Yin style in real time combat, which means I let anyone attack me full contact any which way they wish, no matter what your martial art style. LOL How you bring it, is how I will bring it back..." Seriously though, I like to train with people who like to really be able to use the material that they study. Finding training partners who know the difference between confidence and ego can be a tough one though... __________________________________________________ Do You Yahoo!? Tired of spam? Yahoo!
