Reply-To: the_dojang@martialartsresource.net In response to the "HapKiDo in Phoenix" post Curt McCauley wrote "you play HapKiDo?". Curt you obviously don't know anything about the the man who used the term "HapKiDo player". If GM West calls someone a "player" it's the highest compliment. GM West is one of the few men I know you has truly learned and used HapKiDo in a real time combat environment. The losers in his contests came home in body bags or were left to rot in the jungle. I invite you to to come to Jackson, MS sometime to "play" HapKiDo with us. Or if you are ever in the Dallas, Texas area please look me up. I will be glad to get on the mat and see if your non-playing HapKiDo can hang with the "players". Regards, Don Kirsch --__--__-- Message: 2 From: "Charles L. I start them all off with private lessons before I integrate them into a class. Remember the key to teaching anyone with a disorder is "order". All the ranges are equally important. It is like asking which of the four tires on your car are most important. If one range is not there, you are not well rounded, and in-effective as a fighter.
