If you're planning to pursue a law degree (I assume that's what an LLM is), you might be able to find work with some type of international firm in Singapore and have them second you to the States. That's usually much easier than trying to enter on your own... there are special visas for foreign employees of firms with US operations, and the larger firms will take care of all of the paperwork for you. Also, it's reassuring to see that you seem to realize that teaching TMA in the States is not going to make you rich by any stretch of the imagination, unless you end up being both very lucky and very skillful. Anyway, good luck in your efforts. Regards, Howard "To Howard Spivey, who presumably checked the US Citizenship and Immigration Services, I appreciate your efforts in unearthing information like the H-1B visa. I have actually looked into this myself and am considering the Diversity Immigrant Visa Program. My intention is to ultimately pursue an LLM here and join a local practice. Taekwondo, after I have settled down comfortably, would be in the background. But that is neither here nor there." --__--__-- Message: 4 Date: Mon, 14 Nov 2005 14:52:41 -0800 (PST) From: Jye nigma To: jyesluv@hotmail.com Subject: [The_Dojang] Video clips: hapkido/kuksoolwon? clips Reply-To: the_dojang@martialartsresource.net I think this is a mix of hapkido guys and ksw guys. If and only if you cannot find a US citizen to fill the position can the foreign national take the job. If you check out the school in a couple of months, I bet you will find a Korean with a 3rd Dan WTF and 2nd Dan IJF teaching at the school.
