I'm training in Korea, and my name constantly gets misspelled. I'd be a pretty stressed out person if I let that get to me. Until the next certificate my friend, don't sweat it. Josette ----------------------- thanks, josette. i'm jealous that youre training in korea :). i think we have to pick and choose our battles and where we direct our energy. the misspelling ones name isnt high on my list of stress points. if its high on someone elses, i'd simply recommend doing a little meditation or perhaps kicking back with a beer ;) have fun over there! mel Chajonshim Martial Arts Academy _www.cjmaa.com_ (http://www.cjmaa.com/) 1.573.673.2769 Chajonshim Martial Arts Supply _www.cjmas.com_ (http://www.cjmas.com/) 1.877.847.4072 --__--__-- Message: 2 To: the_dojang@martialartsresource.net From: Rudy Timmerman Date: Mon, 10 Jul 2006 23:26:14 -0400 Subject: [The_Dojang] Traveling Reply-To: the_dojang@martialartsresource.net Hello Ray: Nice to see that you and your bride had a great time with the sight seeing, Hula girls, and Mai Tais lol... there is always next time for Hap Ki Do lol. Glad to have you all back safe and sound :) Thomas writes: > Looking foward to it! I took the time to read the posts on the NKMAA > forum last night before I went to bed. Lots going on! This year I > intend > to take my family ....watch out! Florida boy driving up north in > November! LOL! Hello Thomas, Sounds like you too had a great trip. Seems I am the only one who has a miserable time going places with the "ample" space they give us in airplanes these days. Good thing I always have a great time when I get to where I am going lol. I will make sure to alert anyone else coming from your direction to stay out of your way next November. Please tell your bride to bring her swim suit. The water is great when we go for our annual NKMAA Polar Bear swim. Looks like we have a nice group ready to test, and we will make sure to get lots of good training in once you warm up at the challenge course. The seats were the usual tight with my knees hitting the back of the seat in front of me. But, compared to the seats at UFC61, the airline seats were huge. Kinda sad ain't it. But I'll tell you this, I didn't think the food could get much worse for the airlines. After this trip, I learned to stop thinking. Yeah, yeah, some of you think I never thought much in the first place. :) I just finished the webpage of the Vegas trip at: http://www.gordonmartialarts.com/picture2006/picture070506vegas.htm Even a picture in there for you Master Janisse where Mike Swain is giving me a toss. In regards to November, the students have been making a bit of a buzz about coming also so we may actually get some that are willing to drive for two days to get there. We'll see. And I know you're razin me about the Polar Bear swim. I like the water but not when I have to break the ice to get in! However, I'm a team player so I'll plan on taking a dip with the rest of the dips...I mean folks. :) Seriously, we're planning on leaving Wednesday if possible so we should be there Thursday night. I have to coordinate with my work and our school but that's the plan now. Look forward to seeing you then.
