I would be very interested to hear >all you have to say >regarding corruption, fraud and mismanagement in the KKW, the >greed of some of >the Korean masters etc. Personally I have moved away from the Korean "masters" and done the only thing I can do as an individual. There is no way any one person can make changes in an organization such as the KKW when you have a number of things going against you. First and foremost I am not Korean and do not live in Korea - so there is no way anything I would ever suggest or recommend would be taken seriously. I took me a long time to come to the point where I can turn my back on trying to change things and just accept I can only do things that are in my control. So - that's the main reason I chose to no longer play their game. So - at the suggestion of the late Remy Presas I finally decided to form my own group and go from there. Perhaps I missed something but I don't think you wrote anything that was offensive to me - and I do my best not to write anything offensive on a personal level to anyone on the internet. Is that really our problem? The KKW made a choice to run things the way the want and with that they must be responsible for the mess they make. To say that they can't do anything because they are so large and cover so many countries is really not a good excuse. Sun Tzu in the Art of War said something like to control 10,000 you only need to be able to control 10. In other words delegate authority downward and enforce rules and regulations. When someone does not do their job you fire them. BUT - the KKW does not want to do that because if they would do that it would cut off funds and members. The numbers of members and the money make them strong. BUT it is their weak point because they are afraid to kick out some big instructors who may have hundreds of students under them. You seem to be confusing things like the WTF, the KTA, the other ~200 NGBs and the kukkiwon. Or perhaps you are just using the term kukkiwon to refer to all the above. I'm not really sure. Still waiting for a positive discussion and some useful ideas...
