Sure, they were the hottest thing around when they first came out, but a lot of other handguns are better (e.g. slimmer profile, fewer or no issues with accidental discharges when dropped, no overpressure issues in larger calibers). That said, I like swords and 1911A1s. It addresses weight, muscle gain, how to calculate your nutritional needs based on the type of MA activity you do, adjusting for sparring days, etc. We carry this book at our school and our students have been very pleased with the simple and humorous way the information is presented. ~Sharon ************************ I'd second this book. It has very good advice on nutrition and training. I'm executive director of North Jefferson Taekwon-Do, Inc. We received our 501(c)(3) status in 2005. We are required to make our "books" public in order to maintain our status. The IRS recommends just posting our tax return to our website which we do. (www.maestastkd.com - click on 501(c)(3) on the main page) It only takes a letter to the charity in question asking for a annual report or tax return. If they don't send it, it only takes a letter to the IRS to get them in trouble.
