At issue here is not simply the man's appearance as it relates to his weight, but his history of deceptive practices and his current venture into the diet book phenomenon. We have the full gamut of classes; Lil Dragons, Juniors, Black Belt Club, Master's Club, Fitness Kickboxing, yoga, weapons classes, black belts only, leadership and instructors classes. These all have different requirements on the floor. Some require silence, some music, some a large area and some a small area. Any ideas? Splitting the dojang workout area in two is, maybe, essential if you have multiple classes going on at the same time. I know that when the little ones are in class, they are working on confidence by responding LOUDLY!!! It would be very disruptive to the adult class if there wasn't a wall (with sliding casement windows) between us! Having the two classes at the same time makes it very convenient for entire families to attend classes. It can also give the following class a place to stretch and prepare before class starts, a place to don sparring gear, practice weapons forms, divide class according tor belt level. At our dojang there is a third, more private (remote & quiet) workout area, as well. This works especially well during belt testing programs as it gives the demo team a place to prepare while those being tested use the main floor and their parents use the secondary area for viewing. When not in use for class, the parents & siblings that are waiting have a place where they can feel free to talk & socialize without disrupting class. I hope this helps. A king ruled Korea before it was deprived of its diplomatic sovereignty in 1905 and made into a Japanese colony in 1910. The imperial family was not re-instituted in 1945 when Korea was liberated from Japan's colonial rule, and the country has since remained a parliamentary democracy without a monarch. The privately-run Imperial Family Association of ``Taehanjeguk’’ (Empire of Korea), organized in June by about a dozen descendants of the last king, held an hour-long ceremony in a hotel in downtown Seoul to have Yi Hae-won, 88, restored as the queen of South Korea. Yi is the daughter of Prince Uichin, fifth son of King Kojong, the second last king of the Chosun Kingdom. ``We unanimously agreed that Yi deserves to be the queen as she is the eldest authentic survivor of the imperial family,’’ Yi Cho-nam, president of the association, said. The queen will succeed as leader of the traditional Choson society as well as have authority to select her successor, he added. ``We hope to unite the royal descendants spread across the country and speak as one voice through Queen Yi.’’ The crowning ceremony is not sponsored or supported by the South Korean government in any way, Yi said. In a nationwide poll conducted last month by a local pollster RealMeter, 54.4 percent of 460 South Koreans said they would like to see the royal house brought back to wield at least symbolic power. rahnita@koreatimes.co.kr --__--__-- Message: 10 From: "Sharon Tkach" To: the_dojang@martialartsresource.net Date: Tue, 03 Oct 2006 11:50:51 -0700 Subject: [The_Dojang] The Gentle Way Reply-To: the_dojang@martialartsresource.net Alain wrote, >I also encourage you to study the philosophy found in other arts. Have you ever seen all Roker(sp?) his core is smaller but his head is still somewhat big. When you lose weight by working out all the fat cells in the body undergo change which means had al roker exercised and lost all that weight, his face would have matched his body; it would have lost weight too. Here's another thing, people who have that surgery forget one thing, the only thing that changed is their stomach size. the mental discipline or lack of discipline I should say is still present, which means if you haven't changed your way of thinking and are trying to eat healthy, then those people can and will gain weight again. Carney Wilson is a prime example. jye Victor.E.Dodge@jci.com wrote: Mr. Clay, I do remember you saying that you were there.
