Moon Connection Reply-To: the_dojang@martialartsresource.net <<>> Not surprising at all. The Moonies (no, I'm not sympathetic to their beliefs) have so many front groups that it's unbelievable...they've literally turned it into an art form. Last time I looked at a list on the internet they numbered in the hundreds. More than a few of them are martial arts related. If anyone ever approaches you about "Martial Artists for World Peace" or some such goodie-goodie new age cause...run the other way. They'll have you selling paper roses on the roadside before you can say "new messiah". We can use mike as the model after we shave the back hair on the low cut exposed back." Mike in a purple spandex unitard, with shaved back hair .... man when that picture hit me I got a little light headed ... had to go lay down for a bit. I don't understand unitards at all. I work with several. Any information will be appreciated. We do the Taegeuk forms and they would like to associate with a school that teaches them. They are Green and Blue Belts (Father/Son). There were many things pointed out like some soldiers wore their swords on their back and behind their backs etc. I just recently viewed a couple of korean MA movies and wondered why the people (based on ancient times) weren't wearing swords like that? What I noticed was a chinese type sword used by some, and japanese type swords used by others. So I am wondering how much of the KSW guy's article is true. By the way, the 2 flicks I checked out were sword in the moon, and shadowless sword.
