I had the pleasure of meeting Hwang Kee when he was in New York for a visit. Both GRandmaster Hwang and Master Chun wore black trim at the time. I never heard of blue until I read it hear on the digest. I have seen it since at another dojang. My pet peeve is when I see a Korean martial artist wearing a brown belt. That is strictly Japanese. My 2 cents anyway. Sid ________________________________________________________________________ AOL now offers free email to everyone. I am fortunate to have a student who is now living and teaching in China. While he is there he is doing research on Master Yang, but he reports it is slow going due to muliple villages of the same name in and near the same area. Respectfully submitted. Curt McCauley Chief Instructor Channel Town Soo Bahk Do You can also see military uniforms like this in the War Memorial in Seoul. It was from these uniforms that Hwang Kee got the idea, so the story goes. It has also been said that he got the idea from the martial arts uniforms that were used in China.
