My personal feeling is that either (1) Japanese sword IS Korean sword because it is described in the Muye dobo tongji and a lot of "Japanese" swordsmiths were actually Korean or (2) there isn't any ancient Korean sword technique because the Muye tobo tongji only shows Chinese and Japanese styles.
