I was wondering if that is the same as Kuk Sool Won?” Hello Jye, Yes, master Simms is of the KSW origin under GM In Hyuck Suh. Master Simms is very skilled in the Korean arts. He has a seminar coming up in the Chicago area I recommend to anyone in the area. Sincerely, Kevin Janisse No virus found in this outgoing message. Checked by AVG Free Edition. I had always trained at gyms, aerobics, cycling, ect... but nothing in my life has been so gratifying as martiaL arts ...teaching is the most extreme... to know over 300 students, to know I make a difference in their lives... because of martial arts making a diference in my life So many Bows to all ! Happy holidays! Keep on training, teaching and learning!! sandy --__--__-- Message: 5 From: "kwan jang" To: the_dojang@martialartsresource.net Date: Sat, 22 Dec 2007 20:41:23 -0500 Subject: [The_Dojang] Name Reply-To: the_dojang@martialartsresource.net Jye writes: <> Hello Jye. The ART is called Kuk Sool. Won just means "Association". Marlin KJN and I were classmates while we were Kuk Sool students with (WKSA) World Kuk Sool Association (Won). Students of Kuk Sool may have left the association, but they can still teach the art of Kuk Sool. BTW, Marlin KJN is a very knowledgeable man, and I suggest for anyone who has a chance to attend his upcoming seminar in Chicago. Check with Oren Headen of the "art of the warrior magazine for details. While I am at it, I wish all list members the very best for the Holiday Season, and a very healthy, happy, and prosperous New Year.
