Roberto Roena (formerly known by his "Americanized" name Robert Rhone) tested at the 25th International Instructor's Course in Houston, TX in April of this year. Also testing for 7th at that event were an old friend, David Karstadt, and new friends Carlos Ramirez and Gordon Wallace. There's a picture on the ITF (Vienna flavor) website: from the event: Master Roena is sitting in the second row, at the far right (almost cut off); Master Ramirez is in the same row, second from the left, with the beard (that I'm not a high enough rank to call 'white'); Master Wallace is to his left; and Master Karstadt was sitting to *his* left and got cut out of the picture. (I'm standing in the third row, just behind and to the right of Master Norman, who is in the dark blue suit. The resolution of the picture is insufficient to show how frazzled I was; I tested for 5th at the same event, and, well.. let's just say it wasn't the smoothest test I've ever had. :-) Anyway, I figured a little news from *this* side of the ITF would help everyone maintain a balanced diet... If so, congrats! Is there a way to provide an unbiased comparison of the three ITFs? e.g. who tended to end up in which ITF org? It seems the NK ITF has the closer tie with the WTF, yes? Is the NK ITF also the largest of the three ITFs? Did a majority of the more senior ITF Masters end up in Master Choi's org or NK or Vienna?
