I didn't tell him how dangerous it could be to your emotions or prep him with some voodoo talk or anything..after that he doesn't take that pattern lightly and he doesn't teach it at all..that is just how you react when you do fire breathing...I've used it a few times myself,,on purpose to give me a bump to the next level...it does work..actually too well to joke around with or teach to people you don't know really really well and if I told you the pattern and the eye position I guarantee you that you could think back to some time in your life when you were really pissed off and besides yourself and you were actually breathing and posturing yourself in a pseudo version of fire breathing naturally.... Here is the deal with these breathing patterns , when you are in certain emotional states you will naturally breath and postion yourself in a manner to react to situations according to the emotional state you are in...sooooo, some really observant and smart people about 1000 a.d. studied this and saw that IF you automatically end up breathing and posturing yourself in these ways naturally..then you should be able to flip the coin so to speak and use the patterns and the other peripheral techniques to actually activate the emotion you are seeking..makes sense huh?? also each finger entwining that goes along with each breathing pattern is specific to each pattern, for instance the earth pattern involves entwining the pinky fingers... water involves the ring fingers, wind the pointer fingers, and fire involves the middle fingers....NOW..when I first learned these I thought it was funny that fire pattern involved the middle fingers...because when you get mad unfortunately a lot of people throw up their middle finger.....LOL...BUT that entwining helps you activate the specific emotion you want.....it's that simple...and it's more of a diagnostic approach then a esoteric, whodooo voodooo thing... Mi chael Tomlinson ps...we really don't work out in purple spandex.....it's not fire retardant!!!!! > Date: Thu, 27 Mar 2008 18:41:41 -0700> From: charlie@tsdofla.com> To: the_dojang@martialartsresource.net> Subject: [The_Dojang] Micheals Fire Breathing Pattern> > Micheal,> > <<<> and I only teach> it to> black belts because it creates a quick surge of aggression and is> dangerous> for people to know..so I don't put this out to anyone> >>>> > Please...tell me you are joking....> > :)> Charlie> _______________________________________________> The_Dojang mailing list, 2,300 members> The_Dojang@martialartsresource.net> Copyright 1994-2008: Ray Terry and Martial Arts Resource> Standard disclaimers apply > Subscribe or Unsubscribe: http://the-dojang.net _________________________________________________________________ How well do you know your celebrity gossip? http://originals.msn.com/thebigdebate?ocid=T002MSN03N0707A --__--__-- Message: 10 From: michael tomlinson To: Subject: RE: [The_Dojang] Re: Kicked off Glenn's List Date: Fri, 28 Mar 2008 14:29:00 +0000 Reply-To: the_dojang@martialartsresource.net LOL....who knew one goof could unite so many......LONG LIVE DOJANG DIGEST!!!
