On the one hand this persons says that MMA has barrowed from many different organized and established Martial Arts which is an admission that it is something new and evolving. In the next breath he states that he wants the same status as other MA organizations that have organization, standardization and roots leading back hundreds if not thousands of years. You cannot have it both ways,if you want to be an Olympic athlete then you must join and train in a current sanctioned sport. Or you can do like the rest of the MA Sports and spend 25 to 50 years of hard work, money and politics to get recognized. Asking to have Olympic status right now or every body else should be kicked out is a classic example of youth combined with a lack of patience and respect indicative of unorganized and non traditional Martial Arts. There is also the complication of amateur versus professional sports. It used to be that if you had ever taken any money at all for competition you could not compete in the Olympics however that does not seem to be the case in Basket Ball?? Ray you could jump in on that one. Ray our DoJang hopes to launch The Buddha Head this week for the 4th. Master Dan --__--__-- Message: 4 From: "B.J.
