I'll wear a plain black one when attending seminars unless I'm hosting. For Dallas area Hapkido, I am a student of Dojunim Han Jae Ji's and teaching in Plano just off 75 north of Richardson, which is just north of Dallas. Master Chad Zwieg is another student of Dojunim's teaching in Haltom City, a suburb of Fort Worth. Master John Murphy is a student of GM In Sun Suh with his main school in Bonham, well north of Dallas but he has students teaching in several rec centers around including Richardson. Master Yon Sun Kim is in east Richardson and Master S. K. Yang in Hurst; Master Yang has some students teaching in some other schools around too. That's it as far as people I would consider Hapkido people in the area that I have met personally (I've been here about 20 years). I haven't met Master Don Kirsch, but he is a student of GM JR West so enough said. I'm not sure where he's teaching exactly but he's in the area. He's a list member also; Don, speak up! Other than that as in any large city there are the usual folks of the 8 martial arts in one types, combat types, TKD types, and mixed martial arts types claiming it. Regards, -- David N. I have been on the mats with Master Kirsch for over a decade and I would also highly recommend studying hapkido with him without hesitation. Re: http://www.hapkido.com/federation_schools.htm Jere R.
