He did make me go thru a certification process to teach, and I must say it helped me in so many ways. We try very hard to follow the ITF format because they do have very good guidelines for what to teach and when. It seems to work well because as boring as it is, we build a solid base, then try to add the jumps, spins, etc. Weak basics directly relate to weak everything, or so I have seen. It sounds lame, but it's true. You can't build a house on a weak foundation, and you can't build good TKD on bad stances, balance, basics. If a veteran, refer to Department of Veterans Affairs. On a lighter note, I had several problems and was able to send myselfto the sex anonymous meetings. I met my current girlfriend there. Weare both happy. But, she wears me out.Ciao,Big K down in Big Texas --__--__-- Message: 3 From: michael tomlinson To: Subject: RE: [The_Dojang] Intervention Date: Fri, 1 Aug 2008 21:53:10 +0000 Reply-To: the_dojang@martialartsresource.net Just like Ken to go to a sex anonymous meeting looking for dates...I bet he goes to the eating disorder seminar looking for the all you can eat buffet....or maybe the all you can eat buffet is at the sex anonymous meeting....ooohhhh I'm such a rascal.....LOL..good to hear from you Ken...you are one of a kind my brother..
