But see when you smell so bad that will take the mind off of why you put the jow on in the first place...lol. Just kidding. There are other methods that I personally use like hot sand/ash, hot water, and a few liniment recipes. I might share some of those things when I get some free time.   Jye --- On Sat, 11/29/08, Frank Clay wrote: From: Frank Clay Subject: [The_Dojang] Jow To: "the_dojang" Date: Saturday, November 29, 2008, 11:30 AM Jye, One critical detail you forgot to mention. Depending on the herbs used, and yes it does work, the odor can be on the seven day wear plan. I used to get some stuff in miami and it worked wonders. Good thing stealth wasn't part of my job though because you'd have smelled me coming a mile away and no soap got that odor off. Of course, the alternative was worse so I'll deal with the odor. Warm up was not part of the class so we had to be there 30 minutes befores class in order to warm up. Don't know what some of you heard, but I lived it and is no piece of cake... we started 9 occidentals in a class of 35 and by the Black belt test there were only 4 of us. I am not saying that classes over the states are easier, but physically, mentally and spiritually it was one of the greatest challenges of my life. If I teach the same way I was taught in Korea, I would proaly lose half of my students in a week. So do not put down training in Korea because is you get to Black belt "faster" cause you don't... we probably put three times more hours into it than in organizations anywhere else. SBN Luis R.
