Thoughts ruminating through the cesspools of my mind today are:   - Thanks to the Dojang reader who privately sent me an email. He grew up in the New York City area and recalls the New Lots Boys. He confirms they were a tough bunch of guys (and ladies). So readers, on that fact I was not pulling your leg.   - Regarding the reader who quoted the Gang Leader stating, "Can you dig it ?"...I prefer the same movie, the Warriors, wherein, the psycho guy keeps saying, "Warriors...come out and play...."   And, yes, I traveled those subways to Far Rockaway and Far Far Rockawy. Can't say I wasn't packing.   - Kelly Pavlik will be fighting in Youngstown, Ohio this weekend. I'm headed there to provide coverage for a boxing program. I predict Pavlik will KTFO Rubio and be back. Cotto is also fighting. Regarding Margarito and the hand wraps situation, I can see why the guy absorbed punches for 8 rounds then came on strong. He had wraps that hardened over 8 rounds and then had bricks in his gloves. If this is true, what a trip !   - I recall a Kuk Sool Won instructor I had in Pusan, South Korea. This guy was a real nut case. He was a former Marine. He would go down to T Street (or Russian Street) and walk into the Russian Bars. He would then start fights with the Russians and try out his techniques.   - Speaking of Russian Bars, man those guys really do not bathe that often. When I walked into a Russian Bar in Pusan, I was met by a wall of smell vice a Wall of Sound (who invented the Wall of Sound for you triva people?). Even when Natasha was rubbing my leg under the table and telling me she would drink me (Vodka) under the table, the smell got to me.   - Has anyone figured out who did the kicking scenes in the Billy Jack movies. Come on, you gotta know that one ?   Ciao for now,   K down in Big Texas       --__--__-- Message: 4 From: michael tomlinson To: Dojang Digest Subject: RE: [The_Dojang] Random Thoughts, Memories, and of course Martial Arts Date: Wed, 18 Feb 2009 17:55:16 +0000 Reply-To: the_dojang@martialartsresource.net BONG SOO HAN----- Michael Tomlinson >> > - Has anyone figured out who did the kicking scenes in the Billy Jack movies. > Come on, you gotta know that one ? > > Ciao for now, > > K down in Big Texas > > > > > > _______________________________________________ > The_Dojang mailing list, 2,500 members > The_Dojang@martialartsresource.net > Copyright 1994-2009: Ray Terry and Martial Arts Resource > Standard disclaimers apply > Subscribe or Unsubscribe: http://the-dojang.net _________________________________________________________________ Want to do more with Windows Live? I have looked at the encyclopedia and it is vauge. It simply says that "this fom is practiced by 1st Dan and higher" on up throught the forms. It says that about a few of the forms at each level though. Could someone breakdown what black belt form you perform at each dan level?
