His, my teacher's, second instructor Lee, Sang Kil informed him that he changed his name to Oyama because of different reasons. He, Oyama, trained with Han Eung Kyo (his teacher's teacher) and he doesn't have Dan Bon information on either of them. His best guess is that he, Oyama, never attained a Dan Rank with the MDK because of his "vast" experience with other systems. This is all the information I have on Oyama's possible membership and training in the Moo Duk Kwan ©. At 15, he went to Japan to learn how to be a fighter pilot. He said that didn't work out and that he had a hard time finding a place to live because they would not rent a room to him because he was Korean so he lived in the streets for a while. Finally got a room in Tokyo and worked as a milkman while going to a university. There he studied boxing and judo. Wrote how he saw some of the students doing Karate and "called at a Shoto-Kan (a 'Karate' school) of Mr Giko Funakoshi. He was the second son of the Master Gichin Funakoshi who introduced Karate to Japan from Okinawa and was then called the veteran authority player in the Karate world." >From there he talks about becoming a pupil of Maser Funakoshi. He also writes about being a student of Mr So Nei-Chu. If I see one more post about the hanmadang on dojang digest, I will stop posting any information about the hanmadang on tkd net. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Glenn Uesugi, you are behaving like a fool again, and a barking dog. Your threats of withholding and punishment to the community supportive of Hanmadang are pitiful. It illustrates what an insecure and pathetic example of a "master" you really are. You attempt to hold a community hostage for the exclusive right to print public information that the rest of the community is happy to read. There is something seriously wrong with you dude, and the term master and your name should never be spoken together. There have been more people disillusioned about Taekwondo and the Korean martial arts than can be listed in this writing, by you personally. You contribute nothing. As I have told you before, your "dead list" is probably larger than your readership. You insult Grandmaster Sang Lee and the entire executive board of the US Taekwondo Committee through your ludicrous attempt at control. Your mind functioning is damaged Glenn, and it's time for you to withdraw from participation. You do more harm than anyone in the martial arts community. You have no respect for most people or their opinions, and frankly there is no community that needs the negativity or alienation you cause. Your public expression of hate for Ray Terry is abominable, and you are the worst possible example of what the martial arts is all about. You're an online bully, and I believe an in person pussy. You're a phony and an errant bully. You should be put down like a rabid dog. Be advised that I have formally written to Grandmaster Lee and Master Bruce Harris and requested your immediate resignation as Legal Counsel of the USTC. Your behavior is an embarrassment, and unacceptable. A while back you resented my opposing comments and threw me off your newsletter when I refused to take over responsibility for continuing the tkd.net. Glenn, I could have done it reasonably well, but I never want to be known as Hitler's apprentice. You are an embarrassment to the entire Taekwondo community and the worst possible example of what a martial arts master should be. I want no association with someone like you. To the readers of Dojang Digest, I apologize if any of you make a connection between little Glenn "Hitler" Uesugi and the goals of the USTC. Hanmadang is a wonderful event and the USTC is doing their best to promote and further traditional Taekwondo in America. The Kukkiwon is weakened, and in my belief, seriously embarrassed by this fool and his dictatorial behaviors. He has no business advising anyone on matters of Taekwondo, let alone the Kukkiwon or Sang Lee. He's a punk who prints a diminished and censored newsletter. In desperation, he threatens an entire community with his withdrawal of further printing Hanmadang information. It will be a blessing to us all if he discontinues his jaundiced and stilted newsletter, and fades into obscurity. Please, visit the USTC website to learn more about the First Annual US Open and National Hanmadang at www.ustaekwondocommittee.com. There are many worthy pioneers of our art and many dedicated people working hard to make this organization and Hanmadang a success. Forget this idiot. He's a control freak and not worthy of further discussion. RIP tkd.net. You're finished Glenn! The only legacy you will have is as the "Butcher of Puunui".
