I want to know particularly if anyone has gotten their eyebrow pierced, waited for it to heal, taken it out for class, and successfully gotten it back in an hour or two later. Has anyone tried to do this and wound up unable to get it back in (my real fear)? I have had no luck asking this on piercing forums, as they just can't understand why anyone would want to take it out for an hour or two and then put it back in, but I'm sure that there's someone on this list who has their eyebrow pierced. no? thanks, Jeremy p.s. please don't write back about how dumb it is to attend class with an eyebrow piercing. I have no intention of doing that. The question is about getting it back in afterwards. --__--__-- Message: 2 Date: Sun, 19 Apr 2009 10:52:10 -0700 (PDT) From: Jonathan Boorstein Subject: Re: [The_Dojang] piercings To: the_dojang@martialartsresource.net Reply-To: the_dojang@martialartsresource.net if the piercing is fully healed, there should be no more problem taking the jewelry in and out than there would be for earrings. If you concerned about the integrity of the pierce, you can keep it open with a loop made from something like fishing line. there was a thread about this on RAB about 15 or so years ago. check for keith alexander's posts. as for eyebrow piercings in general -- well, let's just say I had to get the info because of a student who turned up with piercings somewhat lower down on the anatomy and while some could be covered with an athletic supporter, others could not be. jb ________________________________ From: Jeremy Callner To: the_dojang@martialartsresource.net Sent: Sunday, April 19, 2009 1:23:39 PM Subject: [The_Dojang] piercings Hi Everybody, I'm just curious, does anyone have experience with eyebrow piercings?
