If the curriculum set forth to achieve rank in XYZ- do is met, then I am a black belt. When you start attaching moral requirements and "random acts of kindness", etc., to this standard, aren't we just creating another religion, another ?-ism? What does "mend 3 relationships gone bad" have to do with martial arts? Martial arts is an element in my life, it is not my entire life. We should mend relationships and be kind and call our mothers because they are the right things to do, not because they are required of us as martial artists. I have two students moving at the end of the month and want to continue their training. I currently teach a blended-style TKD using the ITF forms, but my students are new (they've been training four months), young (both under 13), and motivated (they both excel in class and practice on their own outside of class), so I'm sure they'll adapt to any school quickly as long as it's a quality program. Thanks, Jeremy Anderson. --__--__-- Message: 5 From: James O'Connor To: the_dojang@martialartsresource.net Subject: Re: [The_Dojang] TKD school in Denver, CO Date: Wed, 3 Jun 2009 08:12:21 -0600 Reply-To: the_dojang@martialartsresource.net Nothing direct but I have passed word to my instructors who may know some people On Jun 3, 2009, at 8:07 AM, Jeremy Anderson wrote: > Can anyone suggest a good TKD school in Denver, CO?
