So on the net there has been some bad blood between 2 guys about the art called 52 blocks. If you don't know 52 blocks aka jailhouse rock aka the 52s is a style of dirty boxing born in prison. There have been some people posting clips of what they say are the 52 blocks. One of which is a man named Lyte Burley. Sifu Ben Hill aka maoshan is a practitioner of Baguazhang and he posted a video where he was talking about his memories of the 52 blocks from the 70s -80s in NYC. He further goes on to say that what's being perpetuated as the 52 blocks on the net today aren't real. this upset Lyte Burley and he said somethings, called Sifu Ben Hill a fraud and then Sifu Ben Hill issued a challenge. He challenged Lyte Burley to a real fight....This is that real fight!   This video is a reminder that even if you teach....especially if you teach Martial Arts you should spar as much as possible! Now, the video: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=FHtesBEzSoY   Jye --__--__-- Message: 5 From: "BJ Pritchett" To: Date: Sun, 19 Jul 2009 11:25:06 -0700 Subject: [The_Dojang] XMA - Flips Reply-To: the_dojang@martialartsresource.net Does anyone know where in Tucson, AZ I can send a student to learn more acrobatic type moves? I have a young individual who will be testing for his second dan in Aug. After that milestone, he wants to add flips to his kicks like they do in XMA styles. The problem is that's something I cant' teach (out of my abilities) and I want to send him to someone who can help him reach his personal goals? Any input would be greatly appreciated.
