Amazing what one can get away with. One of my students from Portugal (Master Nelson Pinto) has a great number of clips on youtube. Some pretty cool ones. Anyway, recently, he's been quite busy making several new video clips on our art, and putting them up on the net. Blythe Reply-To: the_dojang@martialartsresource.net I'm amazed at the degree of .....how can I say this........ignorance, and stupidity displayed by this individual. I had never heard of him before, nor some of these antics. All of which do the martial arts as a whole no favors. On the contrary, it is exactly things like this that give us all a black eye. I mean, pull a gun and showing off some sort of a "self defense shooting". I was horrified. As a firearms instructor myself, this is the kind of crap that gives fuel to the anti-gun nuts out there. Equally as shocking was the nonchalant manner he comports himself afterwards. Telling the audience it's ok, he'll be fine. Dude, you just displayed a felony assault, and act like it's nothing. What the heck was he thinking....And then, the lady thanks him later for his demo. WTF!!!!! Just amazing.... **CONFIDENTIALITY NOTICE** This email communication and any attachments may contain confidential and privileged information for the sole use of the designated recipient named above. Traditional Korean performances such as madanggeuk outdoor plays and pansori narrative opera will be shown alongside unique performances from Europe, Asia and the Middle East. Selected as one of the top 10 festivals in Gyeonggi Province, the festival also offers visitors a chance to learn traditional singing and dancing styles. The festival, which will be held at the Gwacheon Citizen’s Hall, endeavors to preserve and develop Korean traditional arts using streets and other open air places in a truly original way. The festival takes full advantage of international cultural exchange programs to further develop Gwacheon into a city of culture and art that reflects a wider global perspective.
