He could have been waiting for the crowd, but I think he was playing his action vs. consequence video in his head. When I worked as a juvenile detention officer I would watch people convince themselves that they wanted to get into a fight. They weren't the dangerous ones. The truly violent can go from zero to action without the warm up.
